H2O2 and Feeding the Stomach.

H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide. People often use it to clean wounds instead of using alcohol. However, while it kills pathogens, it also is very harsh on our own healthy cells. It is not recommended to use H2O2 on a regular basis. Chose alcohol over H2O2 to clean wounds and to sterilize.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) class, we learned why it is so important to eat breakfast in the morning, ideally between 7-9 AM. According to TCM theories, the stomach is most active during these hours of the day, and thus it is important to feed it during this time when it is most energenic and to relieve it from the fast it experienced during sleep. The spleen organ is also active during this time. Therefore, if the stomach is not fed during this time, the spleen (who is the stomach's partner) will "lash out" and cause the body symptoms of discomfort, such as nausea, irritability, or even a headache.

Many people experience an energy lull at 3 PM and it is theorized that this is because people are not respecting the breakfast hours of the stomach (either not eating breakfast or not eating during these times) or that they are eating too much at lunchtime, burdening the stomach when it does not have the most energy. Why 3 PM? Well, I'm still learning, so I'll get back to you when I've figured it out :P (but it does have to do with the association with the TCM organs with the hours of the day).
