Becca's Digestion Tip Number One: Eat fat-soluble vitamins with fat.
Fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E, and K) need fat in order to be absorbed by the body. In order to maximize their absorption, eat fat-soluble vitamins with some fat. The other interesting thing about fat soluble vitamins is that they can be stored in the body, so you don't have to worry about eating these vitamins everyday.
Tip: snack on vitamin A-rich carrots with hummus, drizzle oil over a baked, vitamin A-rich sweet potato, take vitamin D supplements with meals that contain some fat, serve vitamin k-rich kale and spinach with a salad dressing that is not fat-free.
